Here’s to the authors

Here’s to the authors…

The creators of magic,
wielders of words;

the influential beacons of light.

The people who keep us up reading until early hours of the morning; who make us laugh, cry, book shimmy and squeal with delight. The ones who ignite our belief in happily-ever-afters, true love and eternal happiness. The ones who remind us that sometimes endings are not happy, but that we can always overcome the trials and tribulations of life.

Here’s to the people who weave the words we’ll cherish forever; create characters we wish were real; the fictional boys and girls we swoon over and the heroes we aspire to be.

The people that provide us our escape from reality, the spark to our creative fire and the happiness within pages. The ones that move us with their words and leave us with book hangovers.

Who constantly increase our expectations in the human race. Who smash our hearts into millions of pieces and then stomp the shards into the ground. Who make us cry with joy, sadness and reverence.

Here’s to the people we adore through our love of their books. The people we often overlook, but sometimes aspire to be. To the birth of the characters we love and dream of. To the magic they create. To the world’s we become addicted to.

  2. Hello,
I’m sorry for such a late response to your comment and cannot thank you enough for it.
All sponsored posts on this blog are tagged/titled as such and ‘Here’s To The Authors’ is not one of those.
Thank you for the compliment though. I do hope my blog will bring you more enjoyment in the future.

  3. Hello,
I’m sorry for such a late response!

Welcome to the blogosphere (!) I cannot wait to see your blog and all it has to offer!
As for my blog (on this website) I use WordPress. It’s easy to use, uncomplicated and has a variety of functions I enjoy using.
I don’t know much about the other platforms as I’ve always worked with WordPress (or Blogger) but have found that WordPress has always done what I needed to and more, making it the only platform I now use.

    Good luck blogging!
Please let me know when you have your blog up and running, I’d love to check it out.

    Yours within the Bookworm Revolution,

  4. Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re
using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a
difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.

The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking
for something unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

  5. I am really impressed along with your writing abilities as neatly as with the layout
in your weblog. Is this a paid topic or did you modify
it your self? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare
to peer a great blog like this one these days..
